What certifications does happier IT hold?
Our team holds certifications across Microsoft, Cisco, Citrix, Dell, HP and HPE, VMware, CompTIA and Red Hat, including Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert, VMware Certified Professional, CompTIA Security+, Red Hat Certified Engineer and Certified Ethical Hacker. The full list is on this page.
Are these company certifications or individual ones?
Individual. These are qualifications held by people on the happier IT team, which is the level at which technical certification actually exists. Ask any provider the same question, because "we are certified" is a sentence that can mean one person passed one exam in 2014.
Why are some of these for older technology?
Because that is what the team holds, and editing the list to look more current would be dishonest. Some programmes here have been retired or renamed by their vendors: Microsoft retired MCITP and MCSA, and Cisco replaced CCNA Routing and Switching in 2020. The work those certifications represent was real, and plenty of the systems they cover are still running in the organizations we support.
