happier IT provides managed IT and cybersecurity to organizations across Alberta, with most clients in and around Calgary and Edmonton. Support is remote-first, because remote is faster than a two-hour drive, with on-site attendance for the work that genuinely needs hands on the equipment.
How support works here
Remote-first, and honest about what that means.
Most IT problems are solved faster remotely than by waiting for somebody to drive over. So the default is remote: a person answers, takes control of the machine if needed, and fixes it while you are still on the call.
Some things genuinely need a person in the room: a failed switch, a new office, a jobsite mobilisation, a hardware refresh. For those, on-site coverage varies across the province: we attend in person across Alberta, and we agree the window with you when the job is raised.
We publish this rather than claiming province-wide same-day attendance, because over-promising on response is the fastest way to a bad first month.

Calgary. The largest concentration of our Alberta work: construction and trades, professional services, energy services head offices, and a steady stream of organizations of 20 to 150 people that have outgrown informal IT.
Edmonton. Manufacturing, logistics, public-sector-adjacent organizations and contractors working across a large service area, where multi-site visibility matters more than anything else.
Red Deer, Airdrie, Lethbridge, Medicine Hat and elsewhere. Leaner teams and tighter budgets, usually with one person carrying IT alongside another job. Remote support does most of the work; we are straight about what on-site looks like before you sign.

Do you have an office in Alberta?
Our head office address is 3033 King George Blvd, Unit #36, Surrey, BC V4P 1B8. We serve Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario. We attend on site across Alberta and British Columbia, and we can arrange attendance beyond them.
Which Alberta cities do you cover?
Remote support covers the province. The concentration of work is in Calgary and Edmonton, with clients through Red Deer, Airdrie, Lethbridge and Medicine Hat. If you are somewhere smaller, ask, the honest answer is usually "yes remotely, and here is what on-site looks like".
How fast do you respond?
Our response-time target is minutes, not hours. We publish it rather than promising "rapid response", because a target you can hold us to is worth more than an adjective.
Is my data stored in Canada?
For the systems we run, yes, our security operations centre is in Canada and staffed by our own people. Where a third-party platform you already use stores data elsewhere, we will tell you which ones and what the options are, rather than implying we control it.
Do you work with Alberta public-sector or municipal organizations?
Yes, and the law changed recently. FOIP, the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act, was repealed on 11 June 2025 and replaced by two statutes: the Access to Information Act (ATIA), covering access to records, and the Protection of Privacy Act (POPA), covering how public bodies handle personal information. POPA applies to government departments, municipalities, municipal police, school boards, universities and colleges, and includes a breach notification duty. If you are a public body or supply one, talk to us early, it shapes the design rather than being added at the end.
