We would rather already know what your software is called.
happier IT works with organizations in seven sectors: construction and trades, finance and insurance, healthcare, manufacturing, legal, private equity and not-for-profits. Each one has its own software, its own obligations and its own version of a bad day, so each one gets its own page rather than a paragraph of generic reassurance.
Why organize this way
Because the differences are the whole job.
Every managed IT provider does roughly the same list of things: devices, updates, backups, identity, monitoring, a helpdesk. That part is not where projects go wrong.
They go wrong in the specifics. A contractor's project management platform behaving badly over a jobsite connection. An accounting firm that cannot accept any change between February and June. A clinic whose records system has firm opinions about hosting. A plant where the machine controlling a press has not had an update since it was installed, for good reasons.
Learning those specifics on your time is expensive, and you pay for it in the first three months. Knowing them beforehand is most of what separates a good first year from a frustrating one.
So these pages name real software, real regulations and real failure modes. If a sentence on one of them could sit on any provider's website unchanged, it should not be there.

Most of what we do transfers between sectors. Tell us what you run and what has been breaking, and we will say honestly whether we already know your world or would be learning it.
Seven sectors
Pick the one that sounds like you.
Going a level deeper
Eleven sub-sector pages, for when the detail matters.
Three of these sectors split into work that is genuinely different underneath. An electrical contractor and a concrete crew are not running the same day, and a dental practice is not a physiotherapy clinic.
Construction & trades
- IT for electrical contractors Dispatch that holds.
- IT for plumbing contractors The 2am call, answered.
- IT for HVAC contractors Two networks, kept apart.
- IT for concrete and masonry contractors The pour goes ahead.
Finance & insurance
- IT for insurance brokerages Renewal season, undisturbed.
- IT for credit unions Answerable to your board.
- IT for banking and lending Funding day holds.
- IT for accounting firms No changes until June.
Healthcare & clinics
- IT for medical clinics The chart is there.
- IT for dental clinics Every operatory, working.
- IT for physiotherapy and rehab clinics Someone to call.
Each of these is a full page, not a landing page with the sector name swapped in. If we cannot say something specific about a sub-sector, we do not publish a page for it.
