happier IT is a Canadian-owned managed IT and cybersecurity provider serving organizations across Alberta, British Columbia and Ontario. What we sell is not really tickets or uptime percentages, it is the absence of IT as a thing anyone in your organization has to carry.
The story
It did not start with a pitch deck.
happier IT started when two people with complementary strengths crossed paths, one with a deep love for technology, the other with a lifelong desire to build something meaningful.
The idea was simple. Organizations should not lose sleep over IT. They should not be stuck with providers who disappear until something breaks. And they should not be expected to understand every tool, system, threat and update just to function.
Technology should feel safe. It should feel supportive. It should make people feel a little happier.
So we built an approach around leadership, compassion and relentless improvement. We take the high road, even when it is not the easy road. We solve problems others avoid. And we think ahead, so our clients do not have to think about IT at all.
Today happier IT exists to help people breathe easier, knowing their systems, data and teams are supported by a partner they trust.

Mental load is the background awareness that something technical is unresolved. The backup you think is running. The person who left and might still have access. The server that made a noise.
None of it appears on an invoice, and all of it takes up room. Removing it is the actual product.

happier IT was founded in 1996, so we are 30 years into this. Long enough to have run IT through several eras of it, and to have opinions about which changes were worth the disruption.
